We are adding a Director of Sales and Marketing for our Orlando-based headquarters staff. Our sales staff's responsibilities include making initial contact with high-level charities and other 501-c-3 organizations throughout the country, explaining our services to them and then flying out to close the sale for our services. In the case of some organizations, we close the sale in a video teleconference.
A few important notes about the position.
1: Our services cost our clients absolutely nothing. We create a net cash flow TO THE CLIENT, NOT TO US. Our record is raising $529,000 NET TO THE HOSPITAL in less than an hour. The initial qualifying of the prospect includes teaching them that there are only a limited number of nights per year when we can perform our services (usually weekends for dinners and galas, Mondays and Fridays for golf tournaments, etc.) and we are very selective in who we work with in those limited timeframes. In our selling, we are choosing, qualifying and then deciding which potential clients we want to work with in an area, not trying to “sell” them. It is the job of potential clients to “sell” us that they will be a good client.
2: The position requires no knowledge, skills, or experience in event management or fundraising. It does require extensive experience in closing sales with major executive-level decision makers on the first or at most second call. This is not a sale with a long or even medium length selling cycle. Either the prospective client “gets it” immediately, or we bypass them for another prospective client that does. 3: You must be comfortable presenting to and closing two important groups (and teaching others to do the same):
A: High-level business and professional leaders. It is very typical that we present to a Board of Directors composed of physicians, attorneys, accountants, charity leadership, socially prominent people, elected officials, etc. You must be comfortable meeting with them, controlling the meeting, and coming away with a signed agreement.

An intern in General Management can expect to be involved in the day to day administrative operations within a non-profit arts organization. The intern should be highly organized, project oriented and comfortable working independently while assisting The REP’s General Manager. Daily duties may include observing, participating and/or assisting with the multi-tasking and organizing of the administrative departments; with the communication within and between departments; with the supervision of consistencies within departmental decisions and products; with the generation of reports and charts provided to the Executive Director summarizing the state of the organization; with the implementation of new and the revision of existing REP policies; with the monitoring and maintaining of the overall well-being of the entire company; and learning how the organization and General Manager solve real issues that arise in operating a non-profit arts organization. Researching, filing, photocopying and other administrative duties may be requested of the intern. Internship dates are January through April.

An Event Management Intern will assist the Front of House Manager and Events Associate with the facilitation and maintenance of the foyer, concessions and theatres. The position incorporates hands-on training in contract negotiation and rentals and includes (but is not limited to) the following duties: help facilitate Front of House safety and assure that the environment is child-friendly, be willing to help maintain the concession stand, and support Front of House Manager in efforts to decorate and theme lobby for individual productions. Internship dates are January through April.

activities, you're a cinch; but, even if you have never been there but want to start making some serious

* Previous liquor store management experience.
* Thorough experience with front- and back-end POS systems.
* Must be very computer literate.
* Lotto experience a plus!
* Candidate must know the "ins and outs" of the retail liquor store business (Off-premises liquor sales).
* A creative marketing mind is essential! There are many methods of marketing a store/product and we want someone with the desire to create business-building opportunities.
* A positive, can-do attitude -- no exceptions. As Manager, your attitude will affect your staff's attitude, which in turn affects your customers' experience.
Some job duties will include:
* Keeping abreast of industry and product trends and stocking/marketing the store accordingly
* Ordering product in the most cost-effective manner
* Ensuring there is enough inventory
* Maintain the product database on the back-end of the POS system
* Cashier duties as required
* Manage and train or assist in the training of all employees
* Prepare daily banks and make daily deposits
* Assist with monthly inventory
* Interact with customers in a pleasant and knowledgeable manner.
* Monitor the security system for theft.
* Must be able to handle cases of beer/wine/liquor without causing yourself physical injury.
* Other duties as required.
