5 years childcare & business experience
Bachelors Degree preferred

Ability To Listen, Strength To Disagree - You must understand the importance of compromise--without being too compromising. Walking that fine line begins with developing mutual respect. You also have the courage to address tough financial issues, and even personal matters that might impact the company. I look at it like this "I will date before I marry a business partner." ;o)
Clean Track Record - The last thing I want is a deadbeat for a business partner. Please have your life in order.
Solid Contacts - "People buy from who they know and trust." With that in mind, I am looking for a partner who has solid contacts in childcare and in the community or can gain the contacts necessary to make the company successful.
Common Goals - We have to be on the same page about where they see the company going. Likewise, we have to have a similar work ethic: If I work 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. (not likely, but I have done it) but you expect to come in at 9 a.m. and be home for dinner promptly at 6 p.m., it's not gonna work.
You must be able to find humor in the business and don’t take the process too seriously.
You must be able to throw out criticism and take it at the same time.
Has to be someone that will not crumble in moments of adversity. These moments will come, but you have to fight through the storm.
Someone who is constantly looking for new creative ideas with their responsibilities as how to enhance the systems of the company to make it more productive for everyone involved.
You must have great communication skills with employees, business relationships, parents etc.
