So you are a large nightclub that presumably has an advertising budget, but you want multiple people to design a logo for you for free so that you can choose the best one but not have to pay for it, all on the promise that you might give them some paying work later. How about this, me and all my friends will come to your club, get in for free, drink all night for free, and if one of us likes your club enough, that person will design a logo for you at some point in the future.
Work may be hard to come by, but doing spec work for free based on maybe getting another job down the line is just going to make it even harder to get real paying jobs.

To do that, you'll need to know your way around InDesign and Quark, both on the Mac, so you can get stuff done without a lot of hand holding. Period.

We're a digital marketing services company that does a lot of variable direct mail, e-mail, pURLs, microsites, etc. Which means that there is ample opportunity for you to stretch your creative wings through any number of channels, eventually. But first and foremost you'll be helping us create versions of campaigns that are somewhat complete. Adapting creative concepts for different channels. Working closely with our creative director, who is currently handling everything herself, to make all of our lives more comfortable.

Of course, you'll need to play well with others, be able to take direction and run with it, while at the same time being able to identify and recommend things that will make the piece look better, the process more functional, etc.

It's a full-time job, but if you need to start part time while you finish up something else, that might work as well. Assuming you do go full-time, we offer health insurance, dental, 401(k), vacation time, and all of the other benefits that we'll cover once you're here on the interview.

We are looking for an experienced foam sculptor/fabricator for our scenic/theming company in Atlanta. You must have worked in a scenic or exhibit building shop and know how to build armatures, carve foam, sculpt maquettes, paint and work with wood, metal and other fabrication materials. Mold making, light welding and other production skills helpful. This is a permanent full-time job and you must be willing to relocate to Atlanta at your own expense.

The Manager of Event Production is responsible for managing audiovisual staging and event related services in a hotel environment from inception through event execution, as directed by the Director of Event Technologies.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years experience in a sales and/or customer relations capacity, preferably in an event production environment with audio visual staging experience. IT and Networking skills are a plus. A strong customer service demeanor with a desire to provide unequaled service coupled with excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills are necessary.
