I am 26 years old and a professional musician with 12 years of experience under my belt. I have worked on the musical production of several projects, and worked as a bass player on projects with people such as Vini Poncia, Alfredo Scotti, and punk rock legend Paul Blaccard, along with many others, and have shared the stage with artists such as Journey, and the Backstreet Boys. I have worked with the percussionist from the band Godsmack on a project, and play a wide array of instruments, including the Trumpet, French Horn, Drums, Guitar, Bass Guitar and Piano/Keyboard-however currently, I am seeking a gig as a bassplayer/background vocalist if needed, and have no problems whatsoever backing the band with percussion or trumpet if/when needed.

I have changed my focus recently and returned to school, and as such, need to pay the bills to get me through. I am versed in musical theory, and was at one time a music major, until I realized that I didn't need a piece of paper to tell me that I knew my craft, and knew it well. I have played in nearly every style of music, including, but not limited to: Punk, Metal, Industrial Metal, Blues, Country, Rap, Rock, R&B, Celtic, Oldies, etc.

What I am looking for right now is a cover band that has paying gigs lined up, and is in need of a bassplayer. I have no problems with original bands, and that is what I've preferred in the past, but original bands don't quite pay the bills in this town. I can commit to at least one rehearsal a week (remember, I AM a student after all). I learn by ear. I know a vast array of songs, and if I don't know it, give me the name, a day to work it, and I'll have it down...also quite adept at the "parking lot set list" :-) (you know how it goes, extra time at a gig, or someone in the crowd yells a song out that you don't know, throw it together in the parking lot during a break and let it rip!)

I also have an amazing stage presence...Sounding self important? No, but confident in my abilities, and what I've been told by others... I wont just stand there and play like a rock off the side of the road, I can bring energy and excitement to any room...unless that's not your thing, then I'll respect that.

Image-I can fit into any style or image you prefer, and I have no problem with that.

Gear- I currently use an Ampeg SVT3Pro Bass Head, with an Ampeg SVT610HLF cabinet and a Czechoslovakian Spector Rebop4dlx. I use a Beta 58 for vocals.

Listed below is a current working set list that I've used recently... If this is similar to yours, then great! But it's just an example of what I've been working.... if you play it different, no worries, and even if there's NOTHING on this list that you use, no worries about that either...All I need is a setlist and a day or two to work it, and I'll have your music down.

I'm looking for honest/regular work- 3-5 nights a week, and between 75-100 dollars for a 4 hour set. Please contact me if you wish to work something out. For auditions, I ask for a setlist before a rehearsal so I can come in like a member of the band, knowing what to play and expect.

I went to see a friend's band(shortfuse) at sharky's and there was this band called edgewood.It seems they were shortfuse without my friend.these guys are fools.No stage show, the guitar player kept fudging the leads and the singer sucked.In fact they ALL sucked!why they got rid of my friend I cant understand.I'm glad though, he is too good for them! I would rather go down to the green bar to see "waiting on jim", which I did.THEY had a show and were entertaining, not like those bald goofballs at sharky's.Do your self a favor and pass on this group, its not worth your time.

I'm a pro videographer that's currently between gigs. I mostly do weddings right now, but I want to start doing some music videos -- and I have the first few weeks in November available to do them in.

For the ridiculously low price of $150 (to barely cover my shooting/editing time), I'll shoot/direct/edit you a simple music video you can post to the Internet/Myspace/Web, etc., and use for your own promotional purposes in whatever way you wish. If you want to do costumes, sets, etc., you may go to town with your own budget, but I'm thinking something outside during the daytime. Yes, it'll be HD and yes, I use pro equipment. Yes, you can have Blu-Ray or standard DVDs. I don't do green-screen or special effects right now, but as a wedding videographer I'm used to being creative on my feet & outside the studio. Hey out there! Our band is currently looking for a singer. Our influences are of the classic rock genre'. Not looking for a screamer or crooner. Someone with decent vox to sing what we can't. 50% lead 50% backing.Plant, Chris Robinson, and if you are not aware of who these guys are or have to look them up, you might want to reconsider answering this ad. Not being rude, but we play that style of music because it is what we grew up on. We have P.A. mostly pro gear, and a great place to play (central located). We have some time invested into this but are not in a major hurry to play out, the idea of getting it right is way more important to us. Give a list of the 5 songs you enjoy singing most, NOT what you sing best (that will come later). Female singers are more than welcomed, actually prefered.
DISCLAIMER for potential female singers... We are all married or in long term relationships and our significant others usually hang out while we rehearse. Thought it would be a good idea to make that clear.

I'm a 24 year old guitarist living in the East Orlando area. Played guitar for 13 years, have professional gear (Hamer Archtop, Randall 4x12 half-stack) and am a solid, creative lead player (but you won't catch me shredding). I am equally comfortable playing rhythm guitar. I learn music quickly and mainly by ear; I also have a good understanding of music theory, and can sing backup vocals and harmonize with the lead.

I have a few demos on Myspace, and while it is not completely representative of my work you can hear my recordings at www.myspace.com/hannanmusic - all the guitar work is me except for a few of the solos.

I enjoy playing many different styles of music and have been in half a dozen bands ranging from rap-rock to indie to modern rock to acoustic folk. While I work M-F 9-5, I have evenings/weekends free and have ample show experience and stage presence and have played dozens of shows across Central FL.
