Basic Function
To promote and sell memberships on a commission basis through good customer service and effective sales techniques.
Responsibilities
1. Promote and sell memberships through suggestive sales techniques to meet and surpass profitability goals.
2. Responsible for greeting, touring, and closing all leads provided by Marketing Department at a high rate of efficiency.
3. Provide members with product price quotations, details regarding all accessories available, warranty procedures, and additional details as appropriate.
4. Write up and process sales on pre-printed agreements in a professional manner and in accordance with guidelines.
5. Relay appropriate information to members to enhance the company's image.
6. Research trends and pertinent developments through related publications and training sessions to maintain current knowledge and specifically meet customer requests.
7. Receive and resolve customer complaints and problems within a timely manner.
8. Understand and support sales policies and procedures to provide proper and effective treatment to all members.
9. Monitor and manage catalog updates in a prompt and efficient manner.
10. Ensure an attractive and orderly company image at all times through effective showroom displays.
11. Maintain tidiness in the showroom at all times and ensure all catalogs and pricing are available at all times.
12. Provide basic assistance to warehouse personnel by unloading incoming merchandise from delivery vehicle and examining as assigned.
13. Assist in the training of co-workers as assigned.
14. Follow up customer sales as appropriate.
15. Maintain a neat and professional appearance.
16. Perform other related duties as assigned.
