Veredus is working with an established company seeking a DATA WAREHOUSE DEVELOPER for the following PERMANENT opportunity:
• Perform ETL modeling utilizing Oracle Warehouse Builder to move and transform data, develop and implement business intelligence systems and perform metadata management.
• Develop Oracle web based applications using oracle portal, J2EE, Java, and Stratus as required.
• Develop and populate Oracle Discoverer EULs and OLAP catalogs for analyzing the data warehouses.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience is required.
• Experience using Metadata Modeling tools: Oracle Designer 9i, Warehouse Builder and Work Flow.
• Must be familiar with Logical Data Modeling, System Development Life Cycle, DFD, and ERD; and Physical Data Modeling such as DDL, DML and ETL.
• Minimum five years experience in programming and analysis. Oracle Data Warehouse experience with a minimum 2 years Unix and or Linux; Oracle development tools or PL/SQL; Oracle Reports; Oracle Discoverer; Oracle Forms; Oracle Portal; Oracle Workflow preferred.
• Oracle Warehouse Builder expertise. Experience with programming, testing and documentation.
• Object oriented programming preferred (Java, C++) Oracle workflow development and deployment a plus.
• Working knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager Job scheduling, alerts and credentials.
• Change Management and Version Control.
• Working knowledge of 10g Application Server and Portal, PL/SQL, and J2EE.
