Your training begins at the help desk where you will be responsible for creating, updating, and fulfilling technical support tickets for low volume Call Centers. This will prepare you for handling our premium clients who lose thousands of dollars for minutes of downtime.
As you progress, your responsibilities will include full client technical support which may demand you hire a technical support team to assist you. In addition, you will begin taking the reigns on our technical project management. Projects will be focused on expanding and improving the efficiency, output, and automation of our services. Provide support for a PowerBuilder Application focusing on developing new requirements, fixing production issues and potentially provide reengineering for applications in a Web environment. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Performs application development tasks using good development practices. Follow company coding standards and clearly comments source code to facilitate future maintenance of applications.
Determines database changes required for application changes. Documents database changes and coordinates with the database administration team to apply the changes to the various systems at the appropriate time.
