Here it is people. I made 2 posts already, but the rules have changed, this is the most current and final rule of this upcoming poetry competition. If you are interested, please contact me as soon as possible.

How it works:

Each poet will pay a registration fee of $15.00, which will go towards the grand prize, therefore, the more poets, the larger the grand prize. However, the minimum amount of poets per competition is 10 and the maximum is 20. There will be 3 rounds of competition. After each performance, the audience will participate in a silent vote, which determines if the poem was �HEARTFELT�. There is a total of 36 points a poet can earn each round, and a total of 108 points after all 3 rounds.
The poet with the most points at the end of all 3 rounds wins the grand prize. After each round, the scores for each point will be revealed (just so they know where they stand). After the final round, the top 3 poets will be rewarded. Third place wins back his/her registration fee; second place wins double his/her registration fee, and first place takes home the remaining balance.
For example, if the minimum number (10) of poets registered and paid $15.00, there will be $150.00 up for grabs. Third place would be awarded his/her $15.00, which now leave $135.00. Second place would be award $30.00, which now leaves a remaining balance of $105.00, which will then be the grand prize for the first place winner.
If there is ever a tie, the poets will have the opportunity to defend his/her spot in the competition by entering a poetry battle against his/her opponent.

Minimum grand prize is $105.00
Maximum grand prize is $255.00

Production Days: 17-21 December, in Polk County.

Mr. Hensley, mid 40s or 50s, an employment office advisor. He has the character of a school�s principal. Kind but stern, who strives to be fair and unbiased.

Jenny Teller, a 19 year-old, blonde, preppy, very western looking�your all American girl.

Mary, mid 20s, Latina look, mature looking and natural beauty, with a strong attitude.

Bob Teller, mid 50s to 60s, Jenny�s strict dad.

Greg, 30s, a restaurant manager, he is a people�s person, polite and accommodating.

Young Boy, 7 year-old ish, who talks to a crazy Santa at the mall.

Young Boy�s Mom- she decides is time to leave the mall after son talks to Santa.

Young Girl, 7 year-old ish, who is quite a brat.

Homeless Man, African American, who is the most polite character of them all.

We also need EXTRAS for mall scenes with Santa (kids and families welcome!) and for an employment office scene.
