Do you have the discipline to trade the most volatile stocks in the market?
Our quantitative trading team is looking for two Junior Day Traders to execute proprietary strategies. We provide the capital, the tools (DolphinDB, Level 2 Data), and the training. You provide the focus and the discipline.
The Role:
You will be responsible for active execution during market hours. This is not a "guessing game"—you will follow strict technical signals and risk management rules.
Compensation (Very Competitive):
• Junior: $18–$20 per hour + Monthly Performance Bonus $500–$900
• Senior: $22–$28 per hour + Monthly Performance Bonus $800–$1,500 + Team Profit Share
• Pay Cycle: Bi-weekly (Every two weeks).
• Paid Federal Holidays: Yes, we observe and pay for major U.S. federal holidays.
Bonus & Profit Share:
• Clear monthly performance bonus based on data quality, system stability and contributions.
• Quarterly Team Profit Share for Senior level (detailed bonus structure and calculation rules will be provided during interview).
Probation (1-2 months): Same hourly rate, full bonus eligibility after successful completion.
We hire for two levels under one role:
Junior Responsibilities:
• Execution: Monitor high-volume "Gap-up" stocks and execute buy/sell orders.
• Discipline: Strictly follow stop-loss and position-sizing rules without exception.
• Review: Maintain a detailed trading journal and review execution slippage daily.
• Learning: Study market technicals and news catalysts to improve entry/exit timing.
Senior Responsibilities (in addition):
• Real-time Level 2 data scraping and processing
• Support dashboards and daily reports
• Daily risk analysis and team performance review
• Strategy development and optimization
Junior Requirements:
• Passion for Trading: You follow the markets and understand basic technical analysis.
• Mental Toughness: Ability to stay calm and follow a plan even after a losing trade.
• High Integrity: You take responsibility for your actions and follow rules to the letter.
Senior Requirements (in addition):
• Proficiency in Python, with the ability to apply AI programming techniques.
• Prior work experience in real-time data processing or database management is preferred.
• Strong logical and analytical skills.
Work Schedule: Trading Days Only — Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM EST (7.5 hours/day, including 30-minute unpaid lunch break)
Pay Cycle: Bi-weekly.
