In this role, you will support our operations by ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing. You will be responsible for handling sensitive employee information with care, resolving payroll inquiries, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fully remote, professional environment. Responsibilities
Your Responsibilities
Process employee payroll accurately and on time using remote payroll systems and software
Review and verify electronic timekeeping records, wages, deductions, and benefits
Maintain and update digital employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes
Respond to payroll-related inquiries via email, phone, or chat in a timely and professional manner
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and tax regulations
Identify, investigate, and resolve payroll discrepancies remotely
Maintain strict confidentiality of employee payroll and personal information
Prepare payroll reports and documentation for audits and management review
Collaborate virtually with HR and accounting teams to ensure payroll accuracy
Track and document payroll activities for reporting and compliance purposes
Meet payroll deadlines while working independently in a remote environment
Use secure systems and follow data protection protocols at all times
Qualifications

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 6 months of payroll clerk.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Ability to type at least 25 words per minute.
Comfortable with desktop computer systems and have general knowledge of Windows-based systems.
Customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
College degree preferred but not required.
