About
The Giant Talon E+ electric mountain bike is, overall, a very good choice. This mid-drive bike has its electric motor located within the pedal crank housing, which allows e-assist to make the best use of the bike's mechanical gearing for more effective climbing, cruising, getting through difficult terrain. It also has hydraulic disc brakes, which worked better than cable-operated disc brakes, especially on long downhills.
