It's an older boat. The guy I bought it from used it once, then put it in a storage unit until he sold it to me. I mostly used it for camping/fishing trips- I called it my expedition boat. When not in use it was kept under a tarp. It's in good condition!
The Ocean Kayak Prowler 15 is 15 feet 7.5 inches long, 29 inches wide, and weighs 60 lbs. It has a maximum capacity of 500-550 lbs. Easy to paddle, it's fast!
It has a large tank well to accommodate a tackle box, cooler, or other necessities, and a large bow hatch.
It also has a molded-in cup holder, side-mounted carrying handles, and flat mounting spots for Scotty rod holders and that type of thing. I have not modified it at all. The seat is an early 2000s design- I always put a flotation cushion under it.
In my 70s and ill, I can still load it onto my van by myself. The 60-pound weight is awesome and very hard to find these days.
Includes an Aqua Bound paddle and an Ocean Kayak flotation vest, both in good shape.
Boat was made in the USA of durable roto-molded polyethylene plastic.
