Listed here is a USED Mercruiser Alpha I Gen I gear case assembly. I have another one in similar condition. Asking $700 each. Pictures are provided of both. These are currently being used with the 5.7 V8 350 Mercruiser with carburation so I believe they are the 1:50 gear ratio but don't know for for sure. They may be compatibly with some 5.0 models with some reproping. The propeller DOES NOT come with the drive. Neither leak oil and shift normally. I can show you the operation since one is still connected to the boat. These gear cases were mostly used from the 1980s into the 1990s. I have run nothing but Amsoil in the drives since I've owned them. One was used in freshwater its entire life and I'm sure the other was similar but cant remember which one came with the boat since I've used them both. I'm trying to upgrade to newer model engines and power trains so I don't need these anymore.
