condition: excellent
make / manufacturer: MerCruiser
model name / number: Alpha 1 Gen 1
Listed here is a USED Mercruiser 5.7 350ci engine for the Alpha platform for $5000. It is a mid 1990s model year. It runs well and as always been fully maintained. This is a TRUE Mercruiser engine NOT a hacked up Chevy truck/car engine. It is currently powering my Sea Ray. Shows no deep corrosion or rust. Manifolds and risers look good and operate normally. It has lived its entire life on freshwater lakes and rivers and has never seen salt water. I got it from a doctor that lived on the Butler chain about 10 years ago and I have only used it on the St. Johns in the Orlando area. I am going to switch to a newer fuel injected engine and am using the money from the sale for the repower. Like I mentioned before it is currently in a boat but with a deposit it can be fairly quickly removed. Compression test can be performed if you desire.

I also have the USED Mercruiser Alpha 1 Gen 1 Transom Assembly along with Trim Pump and Power Steering Actuator available for $1,000. Parts are from the mid 1980s and are still attached to the boat so you can see them in operation. Boat was in fresh water its entire life and has never seen salt water as well. Trim pump holds pressure and DOES NOT leak down. Power steering actuator also works as intended and has always had Amsoil fluid used in it since I've owned it. Pictures of both will be added at a later date. The trim sender/limit wires are deteriorated as most are on these. The rubber components show no dry rot or damage which is critical on these.

Lastly I am also selling the Mercruiser Alpha I Gen I gear case assembly is also USED. I have another one in similar condition. Asking $1,000 each. Pictures are provided of both. These are currently being used with the 5.7 V8 350 Mercruiser with carburation so I believe they are the 1:50 gear ratio but don't know for for sure. They may be compatibly with some 5.0 models with some reproping. The propeller DOES NOT come with the drive. Neither leak oil and shift normally. I can show you the operation since one is still connected to the boat. These gear cases were mostly used from the 1980s into the 1990s. WILL PERFORM NEW IMPELLER AND GEAR OIL SERVICE UPON PURCHASE. I have run nothing but Amsoil in the drives since I've owned them. One was used in freshwater its entire life and I'm sure the other was similar but cant remember which one came with the boat since I've used them both. I'm trying to upgrade to newer drives so I don't need these anymore. If you have any questions or need help with compatibility please feel free to contact me and I will help you to the best of my abilities. Three Two One == Two Three One == Six Five Eight Four. TRADES ALWAYS CONSIDERED. May also sell transom assembly. Thank you for your interest. Steve phone show contact info
