Listed here are a couple of USED Boat Trailer Axles. Had both in storage for a long time figuring I would need them eventually but didn't and its time to say goodbye. Asking $125.00ea. Take your pick. Info/measurements on both below:
First pictured is a painted USED 5 lug trailer drop axle. This came from a Boat Mate brand trailer that was salvaged out. This
was a drum setup but can be converted to electric or disc if need be. Doubtful the brakes are operable anyway. Measurements are as follows:
-93 1/2" Hub Face to Hub Face (drum face to drum face) which is the most important measurement.
-76" Spring Hole Center to Spring Hole Center
-2"x3" Box Channel
-2" Drop
Second listed is a USED U Bend Galvanized Axle with 5 Lug Drum Brakes. Axle came from a Eagle brand ski boat trailer. Has no significant rust. Only a little surface pitting is present. I don't think the brakes work and its probably a good idea to do some bearings. Now would be a good time to convert to electric or disc if you need brakes. It has the posi lube greasing system which I think is the best system for the money. Approximate measurements are as follows:
-Drum Face to Drum Face 94" (this is the most important measurement)
-Leaf Spring Hole Center to Leaf Spring Hole Center 78"
-2" x 2" Box Channel
Lastly shown is a straight 5 lug axle with good hubs. This axle came from a 2008 Sea Doo trailer that was made by Karavan. It is equipped with the posilube style greaseable spindles. Has some rust growing by the spring holes but as long as it isn't going to be overloaded it will work. Hubs and bearings are in good operable shape. Had a Sea Doo jet boat in operation when disassembled.
- Axle measures in at 85 1/2" from hub face to hub face (this is the most important measurement)
- Box channel is 2" x 2"
