This is a vintage mechanical wind-up clock/cooking timer. It is unique because the clock is mechanical but that controls the electric appliance plugged in to. it. If you attach the removable power plug on the left side you can plug in an electric appliance on the right side. There are two power outlets. One will supply power until the alarm function of the clock is triggered then it will shut off the power. The second outlet is the reverse. No power will flow through that outlet until the alarm is triggered.
This was made by National, a brand of home appliances produced by Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Lt who later became Panasonic.
This is a fine collector piece with the original box and instructions. The box is not in good shape but the clock is in excellent working condition.
