These candlesticks are not weighted, the pitch has been removed. They weigh 237 grams total. Pair of high end Goodnow and Jenks sterling silver candlesticks. Goodnow and Jenks were the principle suppliers of fine silver to Boston's upper crust from 1893 through 1905. Both sticks are clearly marked. Marked on the underside. Goodnow and Jenks ( G turtle J)Sterling, retailed by Smith Patterson, company, # 53. They have not been polished. The pair have some wear and small dents,
The bases are 3-7/8 inches wide and they are both 7-1/4 tall.
