Message from Commissioner Christine Moore
Dear District 2 Resident,
On Thurs., Aug. 21, 2025 at 6 p.m., please join me for the Third Quarterly Neighborhood Leaders’ Meeting. This time we will meet at Clay Springs Elementary School in the Cafeteria, 555 N. Wekiwa Springs Rd., Apopka 32712. On tap for the meeting, we will hear from well-known attorney Woody Rodriguez on Robert’s Rules of Order. As leaders in your neighborhood, running a meeting with proper procedures encourages a successful, efficient outcome. Using Robert’s Rules paves the way for a fair and orderly way of operating your group’s decision-making time together.
I’ll also discuss the 2025 Corridor of the Year Friendly Competition offering final reminders. Judging takes place on Sat., Nov. 1, 2025. Our “People of…” groups know what’s on their list to complete before the big day.
Oh yes, and I will bring dessert to the Third Quarterly Neighborhood Leaders’ Meeting. See you there!
