Please be advised that I have attempted to run for a Board of Director position for our HOA associated with Deans Landing for 2023, 2024, and 2025. Each of these 3 years, our Management Company and Board (who illegally removed me from the Board on 23 Mar 22) at a Special HOA Board Meeting with about a dozen Homeowners in attendance. When I tried 4 different times to post a Annual Meeting Notice Sign near our Common Entrance Area on 15 Oct 25, our Secretary/Treasurer (Mr. Nicolas Sixto) and President (Mr. Mark J. Moss) kept removing them. Finally, after the Police arrived for the second time, they retrieved 4 signs from Mr. Moss, handed me my signs, and advised me not to post any Signs within or adjacent to our Common Entrance Area, including the areas between the sidewalk and street throughout the neighborhood because the HOA is in-charge of this area. When I arrived at our 6 pm 15 Oct 25 Annual Homeowners Membership Meeting at the Hilton Garden Inn 25 minutes early and took a seat at the table (which was not reserved), about a dozen Homeowners, the 3 Board Directors (including our illegal Vice President, Ms. Betty Jarrell), and Ms. Danyell Pino with HMI Management began entering our Meeting Room at about 7 minutes after 6 pm. As soon as Mr. Moss entered the room, he requested for me to take another seat. A moment later, he called 911 and told them I was being disruptive. During Mr. Moss' telephone communication with the Orange County Sheriff's Office, I asked the 15 Homeowners in attendance who thought I should have given up my seat. One Homeowner, Mr. Leo Fitzsimmons spoke up and said yes. Needless to say, after about 45 minutes of communication between Mr. Moss and the Sheriff's Office, they decided not to respond to the call and closed-out the call.
After I handed out a previous list of 8 Reasons to Cancel and Postpone our 15 Oct 25 Meeting as well as an 18 Sep 25 Letter from HMI Management (Ms. Pino) directing me not to Contact the HOA unless by certified letter, only one Homeowner mentioned that I should have the right to speak. It is apparent to me that everyone else in Deans Landing is afraid to speak out about our Directors receiving funds as Pecuniary Gain and the Illegal Elections as a trade-off for receiving favors from the Directors such as allowing them to openly display their garbage cans, park on the grass, not upkeep their property, install illegal highly visible sheds, etc. etc. If you may be in a similar situation and would like to exchange ideas and/or would like to see a copy of my revised 11 Reasons stating why our 15 Oct 25 Annual HOA Membership Meeting/Election was illegal and needs to be rescheduled as well as a copy of my 3-page 15 Oct 25 Presentation, feel free to contact me and I will respond.
