Great Estate find
Wiring is super old and yet works fine, all but one (1) cable looks original, the tan thick 3 wire one. Not sure what this came with originally all that is in the pictures, extra wires etc. come with this purchase. Wooden carry box and all.
I have looked up the Speedotron Company and believe this is an original from 1939 as there isn't a model number on the system control box which again makes me think it is an original. The lights are different from any I can find online and sit vertical in the shade, light bulbs which both work cost $166 to replace. We tested as you can see the lights are bright, bulbs original.
The system cable box has the company name on it but no model number I can find anywhere and why I think it is original 1939. That and the old bulb shade system.
Normax tripods are newer not the original 1939 set up that I know of, not sure as I have yet been able to see a picture of the original set up even from Speedotron themselves.
Vintage old wooden box comes with it. We found this all together in the crate which has fantastic old latches, we will package with the utmost care and ship inside another box to protect this old box.
