Beautiful Danish Mid-Century Modern Rosewood, makeup vanity, desk, dressing table, circa 1960’s, made in Denmark by Komfort (label is missing however, we found a photo of an identical piece online with the Komfort label still attached). This mid century modern piece has exceptional craftsmanship with striking pattern matched veneers, a beautiful interior, and sturdy construction with a solid Rosewood frame. This MCM multifunctional compact vanity features a flip up top with brass loop pull for easy access, which opens to reveal ample interior storage space with the original large mirror, multiple storage compartments to organize and store accessories, including the sliding tray that can be positioned to your liking. Clean lines typical of Scandinavian modern design. Flexible piece that can be used for its original purpose as a vanity or as a small desk or console table in your home or professional office.

Komfort Mobelfabrik is a Danish premium furniture maker that worked with some of the leading Danish architect furniture designers of the mid-20th century, including Arne Wahl Iversen, Illum Wikkelso, Arne Hovmand-Olsen and Sven Ellekaer.
