Stunning circa 60’s/70’s solid Rosewood coffee table. Classic Ming dynasty design with recessed lines highlighting the profile of the table.
This 36” square table features a gorgeous wood grain and traditional Chinese "horse legs". The high quality of the construction is obvious. With a flush floating panel top within a mitered frame with molded edge, the table has exquisite details and raised panels above a short straight waist, the slightly convex apron with a beaded edge extending down to form the lightly curved corner legs terminating in scroll feet and all pieces are very sturdy and stable.
While the Asian influence is evident in the design, the natural wood finish and the absence of any overly ornate carvings or decorations provides more flexibility for blending into various interior decor schemes.
Dimensions: 36” x 36” x 18”
Condition: Excellent vintage. It also comes with a bonus – a protective glass cover (Please see photos), that can be placed on top and has preserved the surface of the table for decades.
