6 Ercol model 365 Windsor Quaker Chairs
Set of 6 Ercol Windsor Quaker Dining Chairs, designed by the Luciano Ercolani for Ercol in England. Dating back to the 1960s, these chairs are a stunning example of Mid-Century design. Crafted with solid Elm seats and a Beech Frame, these chairs boast the highest quality craftsmanship.
The classic design that is still relevant today, the clean smooth lines of these chairs create an elegant and modern silhouette. The Quaker dining chairs complement both traditional and contemporary decor. An evolution of the Windsor design, these chairs present a tall u-shaped, six spindle back and sculpted oval seat for a supportive seat. The chair bow is steam bent from a single straight ash rail into a tight radius bend. Traditional wedge joints are used, where the legs come through the seat and a wedge inserted into a cut, before being hand sanded flush with the seat, both provide a lovely design detail and a strong joint. This timeless chair is designed to complement many interior styles.
