Offering Jumbo Coturnix and Button Coturnix Quail (also known as Japanese Quail). $3 to $8 each, depending on breed and age. Ages range from one to four weeks old. Jumbo Coturnix lay up to 300 delicious, highly nutritious eggs per year. Button quail are ornamentals (not large enough to eat them or their eggs). Both breeds require high protein feed (we feed Purina 30% Game Bird Starter crumbles). The two breeds should be kept separately; quail are territorial and the big ones will pick on the smaller ones. All quail were bred and hatched here on our farm.
