30kw single or 3 phase selectable voltage 6 cylinder diesel generator with approx 1/2 full 150 gallon fuel tank (tank size based on dimensions) . under 320 operating hours. so both the engine and the generator should have thousands of hours remaining.
History. recently acquired from a retired gentle man who had it for decades after getting it from the communication company he worked for when they were bought out. it was run on a regular/ maintenance basis, until recently where it made brief movement and then locked up when attempting to start. i did not realize it was as heavy as it is, meaning i had to remove the muffler to be able to pick it up to move it with my tractor, and that is with the (heavy) access panels off, and no battery. I have done nothing other than making brackets for the bottoms of the side access panels, and spending an entire evening removing the very rusted bolts that held the muffler on. (would have to be removed to remove the upper panel to have open access to the top of engine). I could not fit a socket onto the crank pulley with the fan guard on (to try to turn it), and decided i would just see if anyone else is interested, before I start another project that i may loose interest in before finishing. the rusted area (at the base) is from below where the battery tray was.
excluding muffler the actual generator enclosure unit is 75+l x 28+w x 41 high; the base/tank is 88x40x12" with the actual tank being about 7'x3'x11.5" the tank is approx 1/2 full, and although it might be usable, I think it is old diesel.
It maxes my lift capacity, but I should be able to load it onto a low car type trailer. If you have a deck over, either plan on pumping the (old diesel) out somehow, or i can set it behind your trailer, and you can winch it up, but you will have bring plywood to protect the road.
I am located very near the poinciana lowes (4420 pleasant hill rd 34746)
post will be removed when sold, so no need to ask if it is still available.
