This is brand new and free but you will need to replace the DC controller. It's able to power the light but intermittently turns off the fan motor - you can find one of those for about $20 and have a new fan.

Amazon sent me an entire new fan when the controller went out so I just removed the new controller. The rest of the fan is brand new in box.
