These pallets nest within each other to take up less space. If you're comparing the quality of these to wood pallets one of the key differences is that plastic pallets are non porous so they don't absorb water when wet. They are washable with hot or cold water so they can be sanitized if necessary.

The average life span or plastic pallets is ten years but with wood it can be two to three months if they are constantly loaded and unloaded. Also plastic pallets don't lose their weight holding capacity like wood which quickly degrades.
Plastic pallets are infestation resistant, no bugs or insects eat them and they typically don't live in and nest in the pallets.
