Our company is looking for a dependable, hardworking Shop Manager to oversee our daily shop operations and yard organization. We are seeking someone who takes pride in staying organized, works well with a team, and can keep production moving efficiently every day.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily production to ensure products are completed on schedule.
- Track and maintain inventory, including accurate inventory input and counts.
- Operate a skid steer to load local delivery trucks safely and efficiently.
- Load and secure freight trucks for daily shipments.
- Coordinate with the office regarding upcoming production schedules, next-day deliveries, and freight orders.
- Organize and maintain the shop, yard, and surrounding property.
- Help improve workflow and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
- Assist with other shop and warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a shop, warehouse, manufacturing, or construction environment preferred.
- Experience operating a skid steer or similar equipment (or willingness to learn).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in Florida weather.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required.
