Our apartment community is seeking a **Part-Time After School Program Instructor** to oversee our on-site after-school program while also providing light administrative support to the leasing office. The ideal candidate is energetic, dependable, organized, and enjoys working with children in a community setting.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Provide a safe, positive, and engaging environment for children participating in the after-school program.
* Supervise children at all times and ensure their safety and well-being.
* Plan and lead age-appropriate educational and recreational activities.
* Assist children with homework and encourage positive learning habits.
* Communicate professionally with parents, residents, and staff regarding program activities.
* Assist in maintaining program supplies, books, and instructional materials.
* Perform light administrative duties in the leasing office, including filing, data entry, organizing documents, answering phones, greeting residents and guests, and providing general office support as needed.
* Assist the Property Manager and office staff with additional administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Experience working with school-age children.
* Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to multitask and transition between supervising the after-school program and completing administrative responsibilities.
* Positive, professional, and customer-service-oriented attitude.
* Ability to work effectively with children, families, residents, and team members.
