We are looking for a Body Paint Technicians to join our Paint/Collision department Full-Time! As a body paint technician you will help repair transit buses. We are looking for an experienced worker with hand tools, sanders and tools related to job. The Body Paint Technician works in a variety of areas in paint, body, minor collision repairs. You will play a key role in helping us complete and deliver high quality work to customers.
Responsibilities
Responsible for body/paint/collision repairs on transit buses in accordance with quality standards
Assist the collision repair department with mechanical repairs
Performs other duties as assigned
Experience/Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in body/paint work and collision repair including refinishing and corrosion repair
Knowledge of the standard method, practices, tools and equipment of the trade
Strong and consistent attention to detail
Excellent work ethic, self-motivation and the ability to work independently
Mechanical repair is a plus and ICAR/ASE certifications are a plus
Minimum starting at $22/hr *Compensation is based on experience.
