Licensed Electrical Contractor Hiring — IP Camera & Low-Voltage Technician — Orlando — $500 — 1 Day
We are a licensed electrical contractor with permits pulled on a custom home in the Orlando area. We're hiring a skilled low-voltage / camera technician for a one-two-day job. You work under our license and our insurance — this is a legitimate, properly permitted job.
IMPORTANT: You will not be working alone. One of our experienced team members will be on site with you the full day. Two-person jobs move fast — plan on a full but very doable day.
WHAT'S ALREADY DONE:
All shielded Cat6a is pre-run from every camera location to the equipment rack — both interior and exterior. Cameras and a 24-channel rackmount NVR are on site. A lift is provided for exterior mounting.
SCOPE — 20 CAMERAS TOTAL:
Exterior (9 cameras):
— Mount 9 exterior cameras (lift provided, weatherproofed penetrations already done)
— Terminate shielded Cat6a at camera end and rack end
— Tone, identify, and cleanly label every run at the rack
— Commission all 9 in the NVR — IP addressing, naming, focus/zoom on PT cameras, motion zones, recording schedule
— Confirm every channel live and recording before leaving
Interior (11 cameras):
— Mount 11 interior cameras
— Terminate Cat6a at camera end and rack end
— Tone, identify, and label every run at the rack
— Commission all 11 in the NVR — IP addressing, naming, motion zones, recording schedule
— Confirm every channel live and recording before leaving
PAY: $500 flat. Paid on verified completion — we walk every camera together, live and recording, before payment.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
— You currently do this work professionally — shielded Cat6a termination, IP cameras, NVR setup (IC Realtime experience a plus)
— You own your tools — toner/probe, punchdown, RJ45 crimper, cable tester. Do not apply if you do not have your own tools.
— Comfortable operating an aerial lift
— Reliable, clean worker, shows up on time
TO APPLY — reply through Craigslist relay with:
1. Your name
2. Your experience (specific — what systems, how long)
3. Phone number
4. Confirm you own all tools including toner and cable tester
5. Your availability this week
