We are a licensed electrical contractor with permits pulled on a custom home in the Orlando area. We're hiring a skilled low-voltage / camera technician for a short job. You work under our license and our insurance — this is a legitimate, properly permitted job, not cash side-work in a gray area.
WHAT'S ALREADY DONE:
All shielded Cat6a is run from the 9 exterior camera locations to the equipment rack. Cameras and a 24-channel rackmount NVR are on site. A lift is provided for the exterior mounting.
SCOPE — 9 exterior cameras:
- Mount the 9 exterior cameras (lift provided; weatherproofed penetrations)
- Terminate the shielded Cat6a at the camera ends and the rack
- Tone out, identify, and cleanly label every run at the rack
- Commission all 9 cameras in the NVR — IP addressing, naming, focus/zoom on the PT cameras, motion zones, recording schedule
- Confirm every channel is live and recording before leaving
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- You currently do this work professionally — shielded Cat6a, IP cameras, NVR setup (IC Realtime a plus)
- Experienced and comfortable operating an aerial lift
- Able to provide work references and proof of recent trade experience
- Reliable, shows up, does clean work
PAY: $500 flat for the job. Estimated 1–2 days. Paid on verified completion — we walk every camera together, live and recording, before payment.
