Work for Room & Pay (Orlando)

compensation: Housing, plus opportunity for paid hours and side gigs.
I have a few properties that need renovations but they’re livable. You work some hours for the room, then work for pay. This isn’t a halfway house or shelter but just like them, housing for men only — it's a safety issue and not negotiable.

This is for people who need housing. You’ll get a private room in exchange for a set number of work hours each week. The number of hours depends on your skills and experience — higher skill means fewer hours. For example, if you're a highly skilled electrician, you might work 6-8 hours a week, or around 20 if you're a laborer.

I have work across different areas: landscaping, construction (light to heavy, labor to trade skills), cleaning/domestic, admin/office, and more. You must be in shape without major health issues. You need to get along well with others as they may be your housemate too. If it’s not a good fit, you’ll be asked to leave.

No drugs, alcohol, or smoking/vaping on site, marijuana is okay, but off-site only.

You'll have time to pick up side jobs or possibly get paid work from me and others. I may be able to help with food, transportation, shopping, etc.

To apply and not waste time, your first message must include all 5:

1. A sentence or two about yourself – where you're from, any background info, and contact info.
2. Your current housing and transportation situation (so I know how best to help).
3. Your work history or hands-on skills.
4. When you're available to meet (I may be able to help with a ride).
5. A recent photo (within 30 days, showing you're physically able to work — not a party or beach pic).
