I'm looking for an experienced carpenter to help with the first phase of converting part of an existing backyard shed into a guest bathroom.
Pay: $20/hour (cash or agreed payment method)
Location: Central Florida
Materials are already purchased.
The first phase of work includes:
Frame a new 5' x 7' bathroom inside an existing shed
Frame the interior partition wall separating the bathroom from the storage area
Build a sturdy raised platform (approximately 6" high) for a shower pan
Frame two new front door openings on the shed (guest bathroom entrance and storage entrance)
Install the framing for both exterior door openings
Make sure framing is square, level, and ready for plumbing and electrical rough-in
After the framing is complete, a plumber and electrician will come in to complete their rough work.
Once they are finished, I'll have you return to complete the second phase of the project (wall covering, finishing work, etc.).
Requirements:
Experience with framing
Able to read basic layouts and measurements
Own hand tools
Reliable transportation
Show up on time
Quality workmanship
This is a straightforward project for someone with framing experience, and there may be additional work afterward if everything goes well.
