Law Firm with offices in California, Nevada and Florida is looking for a Legal Assistant/Site Inspector for its office in Orlando. This individual will provide legal assistance to attorneys and paralegals as well as help offsite at client town-home and condominium communities throughout the state. Periodic travel is required as is a valid FL driver’s license and insurance.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
In office:
Excellent organizational skills with ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects while providing status updates and follow-up.
Strong proofreading skills with a keen eye for details.
Skilled at prioritizing
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Works effectively in a team environment taking direction from others and seeks clarification when needed
Offsite:
Accurate documentation of observations while in the field and timely communication to office employees. Ability to recognize and resolve unique situations as they occur
Able to withstand physical activity in challenging weather conditions
Must maintain a cheerful and professional demeanor when dealing with clients and vendors
Must prepare written and electronic reports pertaining to each site, with established proficiency in MS office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Suite - including PowerPoint and Excel
Must demonstrate a high degree of responsibility and dedication
Litigation experience required
Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
