Estimator – Custom Millwork & Commercial Interiors
Direct Millwork & Furnishing Inc. – Central Florida
Direct Millwork & Furnishing Inc. is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our established custom millwork and commercial interiors company. We have over 30 years in business producing high-quality commercial, hospitality, and custom fabrication projects throughout Florida.
This is a long-term, key position for someone who understands millwork from drawings to shop floor.
Responsibilities
• Prepare accurate estimates for custom millwork, casework, and specialty fabrication
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents
• Perform detailed takeoffs and material/labor costing
• Coordinate with ownership, project management, and production
• Assist with value engineering and bid strategy
• Support proposal preparation as needed
Requirements
• Proven estimating experience in custom millwork / cabinetry / commercial interiors
• Strong understanding of fabrication methods, materials, and finishes
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
• Proficient with estimating software and Excel
• Florida experience preferred
