This is an all original 1994 Music Man StingRay bass, it is known for its classic, punchy tone from its signature humbucker and active 3-band EQ, featuring an ash body, maple neck, and iconic oval pickguard, in a gorgeous Honey Burst finish. The neck has no finish on the back, just a tung oil from factory, smooth as silk. The Birdseye maple this neck was made from could easily be considered a 5 A grade, see for yourself. Key features include a 34" scale, 6-bolt neck, and smooth playability, delivering the legendary sound that made it a staple for rock and funk. Powerful, clear, and versatile, capable of deep lows and bright highs, thanks to the active electronics. This 1994 StingRay is a premium, professional-grade instrument delivering that unmistakable, sought-after StingRay sound and quality from a celebrated era. In its original hard case, in excellent shape as it has only been my bass for its entire life and I have used it only in my smoke free home studio, never played out.
