If you have someone you love asking for 6 strings for Christams than THIS is what you want.
WHY? Well some of this is opinion some is common sense but pair these specs:
The Ibanez miKro GIO (GRGM21) is a downsized 6-string electric guitar with a short 22.2" scale length, poplar body, maple neck (GRGM profile), and jatoba fretboard with sharktooth inlays, featuring twin Infinity R humbuckers (H-H), Ibanez F106 bridge, and chrome hardware, offering big guitar features in a compact package for beginners or smaller players.
With the following ideas that your future rocker may not even be aware of, YOU are the adult thats why you know better.
Take the style and neck from the Ibanez RG series that can be heard on almost every successful album created between 1980 and 2001. Give it some genuine Ibanez Spun up Humbuckers and a HARD TAIL BRIDGE.
Look I learned to play in the 80s, if you couldn’t work a whammy you may as well stay home, but for anyone under the age of 21 try and learn music on a guitar with even a simple fender trem (nm a floyd), breaks a high E after their 3rd strum, you know its heading straight for the closet. I know its a shame but YOU know if its true if you watch, so instead start them off on the right foot and give them every advantage you can while taking away that fear of “TWONG” indicating another broken string which is another re-tune. Besides tell your future rocker youll buy them a surface mount whammy from GFS for Christmas AFTER they’ve mastered the Elton John Songbook.
Unfortunately my arthritis has moved to my hands, and a recent surgery didn’t really go the way we wanted it to. Id rather sell this locally than risk shipping it.
This is a great guitar well constructed, solid, straight neck good fret work, all around is going to take you by surprise no matter what your experience is.
$175, gives you some change back PLUS not having to pay the shipping.
I really want t sell this here locally, but if you want to pay the shipping my recent surgery issue may cause up to a weeks delay.
