Here's an awesome gigging kit. It was originally a wine red Pearl Forum 5 piece kit. A few years ago, I pulled the wraps off, stained and clear coated the base shell.
For the lights, I installed RGB LED light strips on the inside of each shells. The lights are controlled by a DMX LED controller, so if your band is already running a light show, you can integrate the kit into your lighting production. Otherwise, you can still set it to a certain color or have it fade or hard change between different colors. All the drums will have to be the same color (ex. The bass drum cannot be a different color than the toms). The lights are also cannot be triggered by sound/impact at in its current state.
The lighting system was custom built, but works perfectly. This is not an off the shelf product. Please note all 5 shells have the lights in them, but the lighting harness only has 4 leads. The harness hooks into the shells via a 4 pin DMX (Not XLR) jack each of the shells. The vinyl graphic on the bass drum can be removed and you can put your own band's graphic. (I kept it on for the photos).
The kit was my gigging one for a while, so it has some wear consistent with that nature. I did my best to document it in the photos. The heads are lightly used, but probably around 5 years old.
