The names I'm playing with are Scarletborn Or Valley of Knives. Apocalyptic themes. (vengeance of Christ type of thing)
Looking for a drummer and bassist to create a new Doom oriented metal band from scratch. Looking to add some hardcore and some thrashy elements. Would like to use ethnic scales like Phrygian dominant, Spanish minor, or harmonic minor. (think early Sepultura type of melodies) but with slower/ more grooved out rhythms.
Influences are Xibalba, Monolord, Paramaecium, Acacia Strain, Black Sabbath, Metallica. Working on a demo song as we speak.
