About the Position:
We are looking for professional music educators with experience teaching guitar to students ages 7 through adults. The ideal candidate will excel at both one-on-one instruction and leading engaging group classes in a classroom setting.
Key Responsibilities:
*Teach beginner and intermediate guitar classes in a group setting and more advanced students in private.
*Develop lesson plans that balance music theory, technique, and performance preparation.
*Foster a positive, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment.
*Guide students toward skill development, confidence, and a love of music.
*Prepare students for end-of-course performances in our state-of-the-art live performance room.
Qualifications:
*Proven experience teaching guitar to students of various ages (7+).
*Ability to lead group lessons and manage classroom dynamics effectively.
*Proficiency in teaching music theory, technique, and performance skills.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*A degree in music education or equivalent experience is preferred.
