Our Tax office is looking for an experienced office Secretary that is capable of handling high volumes of phone calls as well as completing data entry tasks. We want motivated, career-driven, and dedicated individuals to be a part of our team. We aim to provide excellent customer service to our clients, to ensure the client’s satisfaction is met. We provide a comfortable and well-equipped environment for our staff.
Office Hours (Monday, Tues, Thurs, Fri) 9AM TO 5PM
Wednesdays & Saturdays 10am-2pm
Position Starts Tuesday January 6TH.
Responsibilities:
• Greet and welcome clients that come to the office
• Answer, screen, follow up and forward all incoming phone calls
•Schedule client's appointments based on availability
• Ensure the reception area is kept clean
• Provide accurate information in person and via phone/email
• Enter data entry into the tax software
• Maintain office security by following safety procedures
• Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, printing, and faxing
Requirements:
• Fluent in English and Spanish written and oral
• Proven work experience as a receptionist, customer service rep, or similar role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
• Professional attitude and appearance
•Must be able to obtain IRS Ptin (Have to have filed previous year taxes)
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
• Excellent multitasking and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
• Excellent customer service skills
• Able to work on your own initiative
