Meet Chris.
He’s a 13-year-old Shih Tzu who’s lived a full life and just wants peace, snuggles, and one person to love.
We inherited Chris after my mother-in-law passed away. While we’ve cared for him with love, our home has two young kids and another dog—and it’s just not the right environment for him. Chris deserves more calm and comfort in his senior years.
About Chris:
• Loyal, low-energy, and deeply attached to his person
• Grumpy but loving—classic old man dog
• NOT fixed
• Poor eyesight due to age
• Marks occasionally (especially around our female dog)
• Kennel aggressive – he does NOT tolerate being crated
• Barks when someone’s at the door but otherwise quiet
• Best as an only pet in a quiet, child-free home
Health & Care:
• Up to date on shots and checkups
• Comes with full vet records
• Enrolled in Banfield Pet Insurance
• Comes with food, bowls, 3 beds, 2 blankets
Ideal Home:
Someone retired or working from home. No other pets. No small kids. Just one person who wants a quiet companion and can give Chris the peaceful final chapter he deserves.
