It is true....we are all immigrants to one extent or another. Some immigrants and their lineage have been here for hundreds of years at this point. While once an "immigrant", it hardly feels this way day in and day out. Our customs, language, our European background, even religion to an extent other places....holds a lot of this together.

Other immigrants have been here a year.....maybe 20. Then we have the anchor babies. Different cultures, languages, loyalties perhaps. Religion can be a divisive as well.

Do people really expect to show up here....an accumulate wealth, wages, own a home....in just a few short years? That is kind of absurd when you think about it. Sure, doesn't mean it can t happen. Doesn't mean you still are not better off than where you came from........but there is a long long road ahead of you.

Plus if your illegal...well, you haven't even technically entered the game yet.

So, do what you have to do protestors......however, its just one day. My ancestors arrived 82,855 days ago....give or take a few days.
