This bus was purchased with the intention of our family living and traveling full-time but due to life changes we are no longer able to continue working on it. All the work listed below has been done with great care and research. It has been stored under a pole barn over the last year, has been run and driven frequently.
The Skoolie is ready for plumbing and electrical. We will include the floor plans we had in mind however it is essentially a blank canvas ready for its new owners.
Details:
· Fully gutted
· Front and back heaters have been removed, and coolant lines rerouted
· All school bus stickers, lights, and signs have been removed.
· All screw and bolt holes in the floor, sides and roof have been filled with JB Weld
· There was some minor internal floor from a few leaky windows, but all rust has been mitigated and repaired using FDC Rust Converter (a professional grade rust repair) and sealed with Rustoleum High Performance Protective Enamel. Any areas in the bus where it looked like metal had the potential of becoming corrosive were cut out and the metal replaced with 16g steel.
· No external rust on the bus.
· All non-essential electrical components and wires were removed and the fuse box reorganized and tidied up.
· All side indicator lights, and marker lights have been replaced.
· The door has been fabricated and rebuilt into a more appropriate skoolie door with a deadbolt lock
· Two MaxAir All Weather Fans have been installed.
· All seams on the roof have been tapped over with Eterna Bond tape and the entire roof painted with three coats of Henry’s Tropicool.
· All bus windows were removed and replaced with 16-gauge steel that was primed using Rustoleum Latex Primer and fastened with nearly 800 rivets.
· 4 large emergency exit RV windows and two smaller RV windows have been installed.
· Sta-Bil Diesel Fuel Stabilizer has been added to the fuel tank.
· The subfloor has been installed with 1.5inch R-5 foam board, framed out with 2x4 sleeper joists and topped with 5/16 plywood
• All of the framing has been completed using 1/2 with Teks wood to metal to minimize thermal bridging.
Included in purchase:
· 900 sq.ft of Havlock Wool Insulation
· “27X27” skylight that was intended for the bedroom at the back of the bus.
· 4 gallons of rustoleum farm & implement paint (white).
· A full set of tire covers.
