Locion: Orlando, FL (no telework) and must be willing and able to work onsite.
Security Clearance: active and current Secret with ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI.
This posting is for multiple opportunities ranging in years of experience. Level of opportunity, including compension, will be mched to a candide’s experience.
Leidos currently has several openings for Network Engineers to a Defense network program in Orlando, FL. The Network Engineer will be responsible for supporting core network infrastructure devices, including troubleshooting and quick fixes, on-site support, and providing requirements to drive improvement.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide Network Engineering support for the design, documention, implemention, maintenance, and operion of an evolving network architecture. Provide cross-discipline training for and mentoring of all team personnel.
Manage network architecture to include operional and security reled updes and changes.
Lead the deployment planning and coordinion of network system upgrades various field sites, both CONUS and OCONUS as required.
Interface with Tier 2 to assist with coordinion and issue escalion as approprie.
Provide briefings and regular stus updes to Program leadership on issues
Basic Qualificions:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Informion Technology, Network Engineering, or a reled field with 8-15 years of relevant experience.
Active and current Secret clearance with ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance.
Demonstred subject mter expertise in network infrastructure.
Demonstred experience of Juniper SSR architecture and configurion.
Expertise in SD-WAN technologies and implemention.
Demonstred proficiency in Cisco IOS/IOS-XE opering systems.
Strong understanding of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP).
Experience with network virtualizion and software-defined networking.
Familiarity with network automion tools.
Proven track record in SD-Wan solutions.
Familiarity with WAN optimizing.
Understanding and implementing QoS.
Proficient knowledge of network engineering, network architecture, and network automion.
Strong written and verbal communicions, team building and collaborion skills.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Preferred Qualificions:
Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Knowledge of network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios).
Familiarity with VoIP and unified communicions technologies.
Understanding of containerizion and microservices architectures

Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compension or salary.
