This is a full-time, on-site role for a Freight Broker Agent at our north Orlando, Florida office. The Freight Broker Agent will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients and carriers, arranging shipments, and ensuring timely deliveries. Day-to-day tasks include managing customer accounts, coordinating with the dispatch team, and providing exceptional customer service. The role also involves negotiating rates and maintaining accurate records of all transactions.
Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and scheduling appointments.
Assist with customer inquiries.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth office operations.
Ability to multi-task and handle stressful situations.
NO Freight Broker experience is required!
Qualifications
Possess skills in Sales and Account Management
Experience in Customer Service and Sales
Dispatching skills and the ability to coordinate logistics
Excellent communication, phone, sales, and negotiation skills (NO COLD CALLS required)
Ability to work onsite
Good Sales/Closing person.
