This may be the best R/C airplane ever for beginners. The included S.A.F.E. control system has three levels:
• Beginner with automatic recovery to straight-and-level
• Intermediate for more maneuverability
• Expert for full aerobatics.

Outfit includes:
• Assembled Horizon Hobby Apprentice STS R/C airplane with radio gear, linkages, and landing gear installed. This airplane has been radio and motor ground-checked but never flown or even taxied.
• Spektrum DXs transmitter with batteries. Has only been turned on for less than 5 minutes to check out the assembled airplane.
• Two Horizon Hobby 4000mAh size 30C S.M.A.R.T. rechargeable LiPo batteries so you can fly with one while the other recharges. Nether of these has been used yet, except for one 5-minute ground-check session.
• Horizon S155 LiPo 55 watt battery charger with automatic cell balancing and test features.
• Owner’s manual which includes links to instructional videos.
• All of the extra parts (control link retainers and wing-attach bands) that the manufacturer includes when purchased new.
• Extra wing-attach bands.
