We are a small electrical contractor in business for over 16 years located in the SoDo area of Orlando who specializes in residential and commercial electrical service work. We are seeking a skilled Service Electrician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial and residential sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, including experience with high and low voltage systems, blueprint reading, and schematics. This role requires attention to detail, safety consciousness, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team on diverse projects.
Duties
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in commercial and residential settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation and maintenance.
• Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters (ohmmeters, ammeters), and other electrical testing devices to diagnose issues.
• Work with low voltage and high voltage systems in compliance with NEC standards.
• Perform routine inspections to identify potential electrical hazards or failures.
• Collaborate with construction teams on site to ensure electrical components are integrated correctly into building frameworks.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used for each project.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and electrical codes during all tasks.

Requirements
• Proven experience as a residential and commercial service electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to self perform
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of standard construction procedures
• Ability to work safely with high voltage and low voltage systems following NEC guidelines.
• Skilled in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, as well as power tools like drills and saws.
• Familiarity with testing equipment including ohmmeters and ammeters.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety standards.
• Ability to work at heights or in confined spaces as required by job sites.
• Valid clean drivers license and proof of citizenship is required
