We’re hiring Rebar Assembly & Fabrication Technicians to work in our fabrication yard. If you have experience working with steel, interpreting blueprints, and assembling structural components, this is a great opportunity to join a reliable team and grow your skills.
Job Responsibilities:
* Assembly & Fabrication
* Assemble rebar cages by cutting, bending, and tying steel bars
* Use wire tying tools or welding techniques to secure intersections
* Ensure cages meet dimensional and structural specifications
* Blueprint Interpretation
* Read and interpret construction drawings, rebar schedules, and placement diagrams
* Follow detailed instructions for spacing, overlap, and alignment
* Material Handling
* Load, unload, and organize rebar materials in the yard
* Measure and cut rebar to required lengths using saws or shears
* Quality & Safety
* Inspect completed cages for accuracy and integrity
* Follow safety protocols for handling heavy materials and tools
* Maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills & Qualifications
* Experience in rebar installation or steel fabrication
* Ability to read technical drawings and placement plans
* Skilled in using tying tools, cutters, and benders
* Physical strength and stamina (able to lift 50 lbs and stand for 9+ hours)
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
